The 2016 Tamarack has come to an end, and five Parkland golfers are coming home winners.

 

 

The Tamarack Golf Tournament ended Saturday at the Clear Lake Golf Course, and five Parkland golfers left as flight champions and consolation champions.

Riese Gaber of Gilbert Plains ended his summer on a high note, winning the Junior Consolation Championship in the Championship Flight. Gaber will attend Dauphin Kings training camp later this week. 

Russell's Braden Clement defeated Minnedosa's Brad Letain in match play to win the 1st Flight Championship in the Junior Division.

 

Jo-Anne Stitt of Dauphin faced Sanda Bridgett in match play in Ladies play. Stitt defeated Bridgett to claim the consolation championship in the Ladies 3rd Flight.

 

Brandon's Dustin Dyck knocked off two Dauphin golfers in a row, Scott McCallum in the semi-final, then Regan Hedley in the final to earn the Men's 2nd Flight Championship.

Dauphin would not be shutout in the Men's competition though, as Robert Bouchard won the 10th Flight Championship.

 

In Senior Men's competition, Mel Graves of Grandview came away with the 3rd Flight Championship.
