You can Sponsor DMBA's Brand New Jerseys

The Dauphin Minor Baseball Association are looking to get brand new jerseys this season for all teams, and that's where you can step in.

The Association is looking for businesses or anyone that would want to sponsor a set of jerseys, and the jerseys will be used for a minimum of five years.

"Our registration numbers last year increased by 30 percent, and we used every single jersey we had," said Jodie Romanow, President of DMBA. "Some of the jerseys had holes in them, they were faded and several years old. So the current board has taken on the task of raising enough money to get new jerseys for every player from Mosquito to Midget."

Jodie expects much of the same next year as far as players.

"We are hoping they stay the same," said Romanow. "Last year was a great year. We expect most of the kids to come back and play, and of course, some new kids that haven't played before as well."

For more information, you can contact Jodie Romanow at 572-5182, or Gertrud Carriere at 572-4416.
