Dauphin's Brezden Continues Impressive Figure Skating Season

Dauphin's Breken Brezden continued her impressive figure skating season a couple weeks ago when she placed third at the Skate Canada/Manitoba Sectional Championships.

"She lost to a 13-year-old and a 15-year-old, so she was pretty happy about it," said Breken's Father, Brian Brezden. "She ended up with a score of 68.09, which was definitely a good score for her."

Now Brezden will take part in a Super Skate in Winnipeg from November 24-26.

"That will pretty much wrap it up for November and December," said Brian. "Then she will be preparing for the 2018 Manitoba Winter Games in early March."

Stay tuned here to 730CKDM to see how Breken does at the Super Skate later this month.
