Trojans Varsity Girls win Championship!

The Gilbert Plains Varsity girls Trojans headed to Swan River to take part in the Doug Oberlin volleyball tournament this weekend, and they will return to Gilbert Plains as Champions!

On Friday, the team started off their tournament by beating Swan River, 24-25, 25-18. 

From there, the Trojans went on cruise control, beating Hapnot 25-22, 25-17 which clinched first place for the team in their pool heading into playoffs.

In the semifinals, the Trojans once again took on Hapnot, and once again dominated them, 25-11, 25-12.

Then came the finals and the Trojans looked stronger then ever in beating Thompson, 25-7, 25-14 to capture the Championship.
