Kings in action against Terriers

The Dauphin Kings will play their sixth game of the regular season tonight when they welcome the Portage Terriers to Credit Union Place.

"We definitely have to match their speed and work ethic," said Head Coach and GM of the Kings, Marc Berry. "Portage has a culture of winning, and we have to make sure we have everyone on board and ready to go."

It's been a rough start for the Kings (0-5) who have allowed 36 goals against over the five games, while scoring just 12.

"We have to prevent pucks from going into our own net," said Berry. "We've been working on that for a few days."

Tonight's game is the first of two straight at home for the Kings who will welcome the Steinbach Pistons on Friday to Credit Union Place.

Puck drop tonight is set for 7:30 and you can still pick up your tickets for the game.
