Western Canadian Junior Championships kick off in Brandon

The Western Canadian Junior AAA Baseball Championships kicked off today at Andrews Field, In Brandon.

 

The Brandon Marlins kick off their Championships at 12:30 today against St. James, and then they take on Weyburn this evening at 8:00.

Brandon then takes on the St. Albert Cardinals tomorrow evening at 6:30, and then they meet the Saskatoon Hoppers on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.

The Marlins finish off their round robin on Sunday morning against the Slave Lake Heat.

The Championship final is set for Sunday evening at 5:00 p.m.

The Canadian Rugby Championships didn't start off well for the Prairie Blizzard U18 women's team, but Friday was as grand as it gets, as the team beat Quebec, 26-21 to record it's first win in program history out of three programs, (U19 boys), (U18 boys), U18 girls).
