Jesse's Hockey Tournament coming up

Jesse's Annual Hockey Tournament is just over a week away from taking place at Credit Union Place

 

Over 55 kids have already signed up. Last year, the tournament saw 58 kids take to action.

The date for the tournament is set for August 19 and there is Timbits to Peewee divisions. The fee to take part is $45 and that includes three games, a jersey, a hamburger or hot dog, drink and a full day of fun. 

Last year, the tournament raised $2900, with the funds going toward the MS Walk in our community.

The Canadian Rugby Championships didn't start off well for the Prairie Blizzard U18 women's team, but Friday was as grand as it gets, as the team beat Quebec, 26-21 to record it's first win in program history out of three programs, (U19 boys), (U18 boys), U18 girls).
