Rangers fall for the first time

The Rangers FC soccer club controlled the majority of play but came out on the short end of a 1-0 game against Brandon Old Castle United this afternoon at Vermillion Park Sportsplex.

"Some unlucky bounces went against us, and we just couldn't put the ball into the back of the net." said Jason Dando, Player/Manager of Rangers FC.

Coming into the game, Rangers FC were 4-0, including a very good win last week, 3-2 when they had just ten players.

No goals were scored by Rangers FC, but as Dando mentions, they could have done more to help their chances.

"Our missed chances were caused by not shooting the ball enough." said Dando.

The Rangers FC will not play again until July 30, at home once again at Vermillion Park Sportsplex.
