One of the latest Hockey players to become a Prince Albert Raider is the pride of Roblin.
Jakob Brook played for the Rink Hockey Academy Bantam Prep team based out of Winnipeg, and had 32 points in 27 games last season.
Brook was drafted in the second round by the Raiders.
Brook talks about his excitement to join such a historic WHL franchise.
"It's pretty exciting, I was expecting it to happen, I wasn't sure where or when I would go, but I'm happy with where I went. It's my Dad's old team, and he's got a few guys there that he still knows so I'm pretty close with the Organization."
Brook's brother, Josh, plays for a Provincial rival, that being the Moose Jaw Warriors, and is eligible for the 2017 NHL draft.
