Gaber Excited to Join Western Michigan

A member of the Dauphin Kings that grew up playing hockey in the Parkland is off to the NCAA.

Riese Gaber from Gilbert Plains has committed to Western Michigan University, a division 1 team coached by former NHL bench boss Andy Murray.

Gaber talks about his excitement to play south of the border.
 
"Obviously it's a huge accomplishment, I'm really excited. It's a great school and it's been my goal to commit to a Division 1 School, so I'm glad I've reached that goal now."
 
Gaber will play at least one more year for the Dauphin Kings before leaving for University.
