The Dauphin Fire Novice Hockey team is on their way to the Parkissimo Novice Championship this week.

The Fire defeated Swan Valley in a best of three series, and move on to play Hamiota in the final.

Head Coach Dave Height says if his team can maintain the status quo, they should have a successful series.

"If we keep up the strong team play that we've had all year, decent passing, good goaltending, and work as a team, we should be able to accomplish (winning)."

No word on when the games will begin this week.

The Parkissimo Atom Playoffs are in their final series as well. Dauphin 1 will host Russell to kick off their best of three series tonight.
