Travelers Curling Club Provincials Day One Recap

The Travelers Curling Club Provincials kicked off Thursday night at the Assiniboine Memorial Curling Club in Winnipeg.

 

In the men's bracket, Grant Babcock of Neepawa defeated Gilles Rondeau from Lorette 7-0, and Kyle Forsyth of Gilbert Plains fell 7-3 to Mark Anderson of Riverview.
 
 In the women's bracket Darla Hanke out of Neepawa won her match against Pembina's Marla Boyd 7-4, and Dauphin's Kimberly Merasty beat Assiniboine's Kathy Cox 11-7. 
 
Day two match ups continue today at Assiniboine Memorial Curling Club in Winnipeg, make sure to listen to CKDM for full updates on the bonspiels.
