Grandview Moves on, Gilbert Plains Drops to B-Side: Basketball Recap

The Grandview Girls Basketball are on to the semi final, while the Gilbert Plains boys and girls are down to the B-side of the draw.

 

Grandview defeated Joseph H. Kerr, this morning 78-22, and will play Rosenort tomorrow afternoon at 1:30.

The Gilbert Plains girls team lost to Elton Collegiate 68-38. Gilbert Plains now drops down to the B side and will play the host Hamiota at 11:45.

In the Boys Provincials in Gladstone; a massive upset took place. The Gilbert Plains boys team, ranked second in the Province, lost to 7th ranked Schevchenko 66-62.

Gilbert Plains will now battle Pinawa at noon.

CKDM will have continued coverage through out the weekend on the Provincial playoffs.
