Parkland Teams Competing in Travelers Curling Club Provincials

Provincial Mens and Womens Curling begins today in Assiniboine Memorial Curling Club in Winnipeg.
Darla Hanke out of Neepawa and Kim Merasty from Dauphin will be in action tonight around 7 o'clock.
 
Merasty takes on Kathy Cox, and Hanke kicks off the round robin against the Marla Boyd rink.
 
On the men's side, Grant Babcock from Neepawa plays Gilles Rondeau at 9:30 tonight.
 
At the same time, Kyle Forsyth out of Gilbert Plains will face Mark Anderson.
 
We will have updates through out the weekend on these Bonspiels.

Bombers set to take on Argonauts

When the Winnipeg Blue Bombers hook up with the Toronto Argonauts this afternoon, the Bombers will play without their best receiver, and defender, something that the club will have to get used to, because Maurice Legget and Darvin Adams are out for the rest of the season.
