DRAKE DID NOT SUBMIT MUSIC TO GRAMMYS
Drake's ``More Life'' album has no shot at winning a Grammy. He did not enter it for consideration. A person close to the nomination process speaking to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity says Drake did not submit the album or any of its songs for Grammy consideration. Representatives for Drake and for the Recording Academy did not return requests for comment. Drake could still win a Grammy if a song that features him is submitted.
The Grammy nominations will be announced November 28th. The Grammys are January 28th.

FLORIDA'S HIGHEST COURT RULES AGAINST THE TURTLES
The Turtles have suffered another blow in their quest to be paid for oldies airplay. The Florida Supreme Court has ruled Sirius XM Radio does not need to pay them to play songs like ``Happy Together.'' The Turtles' Mark Volman and Howard Kaylan had claimed their rights were violated when Sirius XM played their songs without permission or compensation. Sirius XM argued it did not need permission to play songs made before 1972, when federal copyright rules were changed. The Turtles lost a similar case in New York last year.

KENNY ROGERS SAYS GOODBYE TO CONCERTS
Dolly Parton jokes she has no advice for Kenny Rogers because he already knows everything, but she might have a little information for him. Parton was one of the singers who joined Rogers in Nashville on Wednesday for his farewell concert. Parton says it was the last time they'll do ``Islands in the Stream'' together onstage. The Judds reunited for the show, and Lionel Richie sang ``Lady,'' the song he wrote for Rogers. The lineup also included Reba McEntire, Kris Kristofferson, Chris Stapleton, Lady Antebellum, Justin Moore and Little Big Town, as well as some unusual acts who Rogers influenced: Elle King and The Flaming Lips.

LIONEL RICHIE TELLS THE STORY OF ``LADY''
Lionel Richie can adjust on the fly if it means getting another musician to pick up his song. Richie says he was pitching a song called ``Baby'' to Kenny Rogers years ago. Rogers kept talking about his new bride and what a lady she was. When Rogers asked the name of the song, Richie thought fast and said, ``'Lady.''' Richie did not even have the song finished, because he never finishes a song for another artist unless they like the first verse. Richie says Rogers liked ``Lady'' enough that he told Richie he had only a few days to finish it before Rogers was going to record it. ``Lady'' became one of Rogers' biggest hits. Richie sang it at Rogers' farewell concert in Nashville on Wednesday.

TWIGGY RAMIREZ RESPONDS TO RAPE ALLEGATIONS
Marilyn Manson bassist Twiggy Ramirez says he has only recently been made aware of rape allegations against him.
Ramirez says in a statement to Pitchfork he does not condone non-consensual sex of any kind. He says he will take some time to be with his family and focus on his sobriety. He says if he has caused anyone pain, he apologizes and truly regrets it. He does not mention his former girlfriend, singer Jessicka Addams of Jack Off Jill. She had written on Facebook earlier this month that Ramirez abused and raped her.

JOHN LEGEND AMONG WINNERS OF SMITHSONIAN AMERICAN INGENUITY AWARDS
John Legend is being honoured as an innovative artist. He's been named a winner of Smithsonian magazine's American Ingenuity Award for performing arts. Other winners include ``Selma''
director Ana DuVernay, the creators of the Broadway musical ``Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812,'' and ``Sesame Street'' for creating an autistic Muppet. They will be honoured at a ceremony in Washington on Nov. 29. Their accomplishments will be explored in the December issue of Smithsonian.

LADY GAGA, JOE BIDEN RECORD PSA FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT VICTIMS
Lady Gaga and former Vice-President Joe Biden are advocating for sexual assault survivors. Lady Gaga has tweeted a video of her and Biden in support of the non-profit group It's On Us. Lady Gaga discusses how as a sexual assault victim, she knows it's ``terrifying waking up every day feeling unsafe in your own body.'' Biden says Lady Gaga has shown great courage and it's on everyone to intervene when they see abuse or hear about it.

PRINCE'S PERSONAL ITEMS GO ON DISPLAY IN LONDON
Prince's sister says he was always picky about the details when it came to his stage clothes. Tyka Nelson says Prince would tell his clothing designers to make the blue a little bluer or add more buttons. She says he saved all his stuff with the intention of showcasing it for his fans. Paisley Park has been open for tours for about a year, but now his personal belongings are on tour. Nelson says a ``miniature Paisley Park'' has been created inside London's O2 Arena to show off items from Prince's estate. The exhibit runs through January 7th.

AARON TIPPIN CREATES ANOTHER SIGNATURE WINE
Aaron Tippin doesn't just slap his name on a wine bottle and claim it's his. He says he was hands-on for the entire process of making his Aaron Tippin ``Kiss This'' Sweet Cherry Wine. He selected the juice, did the blending and worked on the processing with Stonehaus Winery of Crossville, Tennessee. The winery and select liquor stores will start selling Tippin's wine on Nov. ember 17. Tippin worked with Stonehaus Winery on another wine, Aaron Tippin ``Country Jam'' blackberry wine, in 2015.
