U2 - STADIUM TOUR - BONNAROO
U2 are revisiting ``The Joshua Tree'' album on tour because they feel it's a message worth another listen. Bono says the album contains ``a lot of emotions which feel strangely current: love, loss, broken dreams, seeking oblivion, polarization, all the greats.'' The Edge says the songs seem ``so relevant and prescient of these times.'' U2 will mark the 30th anniversary of the release of ``The Joshua Tree'' by playing it in its entirety during a stadium tour that begins in Vancouver on May 12th with a stop in Toronto on June 23rd. The North American leg will wrap up on July 1st in Cleveland before heading to Europe.

C-MURDER - NO PRESIDENTIAL PARDON
Forget any rumours you may have heard that U-S President Barack Obama has pardoned C-Murder. It not only did not happen, it can't happen. A story posted on gummypost-dot-com said Obama pardoned C-Murder on December 7th. C-Murder was sentenced to life in prison in 2009 for the 2002 shooting death of a 16-year-old at a nightclub in Harvey, Louisiana. The U-S Department of Justice maintains the list of pardons and commutations, but C-Murder does not appear on the list. Obama can only pardon or commute sentences for federal crimes. C-Murder was convicted of a state crime.

THIRD EYE BLIND - ``JUMPER''
One of the highlights of any Third Eye Blind show for singer Stephan (STEE'-fan) Jenkins is doing the song ``Jumper.''
Even though it's a 19-year-old song, Jenkins says ``Jumper'' has become exalted as it ages. He wrote it about a young gay man living in a military town who jumped off a bridge to escape bullying.
Jenkins says the song is what he would have said to the man, and he finds that audiences embrace the idea of ``I would understand.''
Jenkins says the concert crowds love it so much, it's been ``forever'' since he has sung the chorus of that song alone.

TAYLOR MOMSEN - PRETTY RECKLESS
In spite of anything you may have seen Taylor Momsen of Pretty Reckless do or wear -- or not wear -- she is not a natural showoff. Momsen says she's very much an introvert. While it may seem that rock and roll is not the right line of work for someone like that, Momsen says it's part of who she is. She says music is not just a passion, but an identity for her. She says it's not fair to call performing a job because it's so much fun.

JASON ALDEAN - COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME
Jason Aldean currently has an archivist going through his stuff looking for treasures to show you. Aldean will be the subject of an exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum that opens May 26th. Aldean says he's extremely honoured to have an exhibit at the museum because it's full of artists who shaped country music. A museum archivist has been cataloguing items from Aldean's childhood through his rise as a country singer.

``CARPOOL KARAOKE'' - SPINOFF
Alicia Keys and John Legend are among the celebrities who will appear on the spin-off of the ``Carpool Karaoke'' segment that was created on ``The Late Late Show.'' Host James Corden will appear only in one episode, with Will Smith. Keys and Legend will pair up for another episode. So will Ariana Grande and Seth MacFarlane, and Blake Shelton with Chelsea Handler. The 16-episode series will come out weekly on Apple Music.
A debut date has not yet been announced.
