``STAYIN' ALIVE'' HELPS SAVE ELECTROCUTED SUBWAY WORKER IN NEW YORK
They may say disco is dead _ but one woman is alive today because one of the era's biggest hits. In New York, a subway worker named Monique Brathwaite came into contact with the electrified third rail _ and had to be revived. The co-worker who brought her around _ David Martinez _ used a tip health authorities have suggested for some time: that they do CPR to the beat of the Bee Gees' hit, ``Stayin' Alive.'' The song has 103 beats per minute _ and health experts say that's just the right tempo for keeping someone's blood moving through their system until paramedics can arrive. Braithwaite survived but was badly burned. She says she sees Martinez as her hero. For his part, Martinez says he's ``grateful'' that his co-worker will have ``a second chance at her life.''

ROD STEWART GETS KNIGHTED
The singer who did ``Tonight's The Night'' has now been knighted. Rod Stewart received the honour in London yesterday _ with the title bestowed on him by Prince William at Buckingham Palace. As a result, the singer can now call himself Sir Roderick David Stewart. Stewart rocked a pair of tartan trousers for the event _ a homage to his Scottish roots. Stewart says the one thing that put a damper on the event was that he wished his ``mum and dad had been here to see it.''
Team Adam scores another steal on ``The Voice.'' Last night's show continued with the Battle Rounds. In this stage of the competition, two singers go head-to-head, with their coach deciding who stays. The artist who's let go can be picked up by another team. Alicia Keys says she had a tough choice deciding between Dave Mosian and Michael Sanchez, but she went with Michael.
The other coaches teased him for looking a bit like Rick Moranis.
Adam Levine snapped up Dave. The Virginia medical device salesman says he sneaked into a Maroon 5 concert as a teenager and Levine let him hang out.
