The Winnipeg Wild have swept the Yellowhead Chiefs of their best of 5 series to win the Manitoba Midget AAA playoffs.

Last night's game saw a 4-1 win for the Wild, as they took game 3 on home ice.

Winnipeg now moves on to the Telus Cup West Regional tournament in Steinbach. That will take place starting March 30th.

Winner of the West Regional moves on to the Telus Cup, which will take place in Prince George, BC.
