Starting at the Ashern Motor Hotel, the poker will begin at 10:30 am. Each hand goes for $5, or three hands for $10.

Afterwards, riders will take off on one of two trails towards 'Matty's Cabin', named after former Fire Chief Matt Baker, where there'll be lunch.

Fire Chief Ken Falk says this poker derby has been happening for quite some time.

"We have been putting this on for a number of years, too many to count. But, it started off small as more of a fun thing to do, but it has grown into a pretty good fundraiser for us."

Chief Falk says last year, the derby raised just over $1000 dollars towards new equipment for the Fire Department.
