Dauphin fans were finally able to breathe at the end of the third period after a bizarre 60 minutes of hockey between the Clippers and Major Pratt Trojans. The Clippers won 7-5 and solidified their position in the playoffs with the victory.

The Clippers scored 5 consecutive goals to give themselves a comfortable lead, but Major Pratt showed a lot of fight in a comeback attempt including a short handed marker when Dauphin had a two man advantage in the last minute of the second period. They scored again 25 second into the third to make it 6-4, but that's as close as the Clippers Parkland rival would get.

The Clippers host the Boissevain Broncos in their regular season finale Saturday at 4:00. Dauphin can still improve their position in the standings finishing as high as 6th.
