One new case of COVID-19 has snapped Manitoba’s streak of 6 consecutive days without a new case.

The case identified on Monday now brings the total number of confirmed and probable cases to 290.

There are 26 active cases, and 1 person is in hospital. No Manitobans are currently in intensive care because of COVID-19.

The number of deaths remains at 7.

Going forward, Manitobans experiencing cold- or flu-like symptoms no longer require a referral from Health Links to get tested, and are encouraged to use the online screening tool to determine if you meet the testing criteria.
