The weather is turning for the better after a rather cool last few days and that's a good thing leading up to the Victoria Day Long Weekend. 

Another thing to look forward to is the Dauphin Lake Golf Club's Tuesday Night Ladies League. That's set to begin on Tuesday, June 2. 

The cost is $45 and that includes the league fee, meals, and prizes.  There is a fun side which includes games every week. If you're a competitive golfer, you're covered. There will be a competitive side and you'll need a verified handicap for that.

Lane Prokopowich isn't only a champion curler, she's the Pro Shop Manager at the DLGC and she's also helping run the league.  

"It's a great way to get out and enjoy some fresh air," said Prokopowich. "It's also a great way to spend some time with your friends and make some new ones as well."

If you aren't a member at the Dauphin Lake Golf Club, you will also have to pay your green fee and if need be, your cart fee. 

It'll be a shotgun start each Tuesday at 6:15 and it will be nine holes. 

"The great thing about this league is you don't have to be a big-time golfer," concluded Prokopowich. "Even if you're just new to the game or play a couple of times a season, we would love if you signed up to play, it's a great time."
