New Habitat For Humanity Project in Dauphin

A new Habitat for Humanity home project has been announced

. This is the second project the Dauphin chapter will build. The committee Chair for the Dauphin chapter, Rodney Juba, is happy to announce when the ground breaking ceremony will take place.


`We are having a lot dedication service next Tuesday the 19th of September at our new lot location at 30 7th Ave. N.E. at 5 o`clock.``


Volunteers are currently raising money, materials, and labour to enable the build of the home to proceed

Grandmothers Protecting Our Children Walk

The 7th annual Grandmothers Protecting Our Children Walk took place today starting at 7:00 this morning with the Lighting of the Sacred Fire and the walk at 10:00 starting at the Dauphin Friendship Centre.

Approximately 30 women and children participated in the walk to raise awareness about abuse and sexual exploitation of children.

The walk is a national event and continues to grow in numbers.
