Grandmothers Protecting Our Children Walk Scheduled For Next Week

September 21 was chosen as the date for the Annual Grandmothers Protecting Our Children Sacred Walk in Manitoba.

The Committee Advocating for the Removal of Sexual Exploitation along with the Dauphin Friendship Centre are sponsoring the walk.

The event is to take place next Thursday, at 7:00 in the morning with the lighting of the sacred fire and the walk departing from the Dauphin Friendship Centre at 10:00 in the morning.

The goal is to deliver a message to communities all over that children are sacred and that the grandmothers are saying no more abuse against our children.
