Needing a Job? Youth Can Get Help Thanks To Manitoba Youth Job Centre

School is almost out and that means finding something to do during the summer. The Manitoba Youth Job Centre has everyone covered for youth between 12 and 29.

The centre just opened for the season on Monday may 15th and they are ready to find people jobs. Mandy-Jo Stratuliak explains what the program offers.

“We provide community based summer employment referral services to dauphin and Ocher River and its for students and youth ages 12 to 29. We give free assistance, match qualified job seekers with summer employment and we also help with resume building, cover letter building, and interview preparation. We also give information, education on career development and employment related skills. So we basically prep students and youth for the work field. ”

 Anyone interested can head to their office at 135 2nd Ave. North east right across from McKenzie middle school. Or give them a call at 204-648-6909.
