According to school administration, a former student was threatening to come to the school to fight another student.
Dauphin RCMP Sergeant Nolan Suss told CKDM they were not contacted until 3:25 p.m.
Mountain View School Superintendent CEO, Donna Davidson stated the RCMP WAS contacted shortly after the incident was reported.
“We contacted the RCMP,” explained Davidson. “We waited and waited and at 3:05, because we knew the individual was no longer around the school grounds, we were waiting for the RCMP to give us word that we could move forward with letting the students go home.”
CKDM information department is continuing to investigate.
