The Alzheimer's society in Dauphin is holding their Walk for Alzheimer's on June 21st.
This is the 2nd year the walk is able to be held in CN park across from the Museum.
Wanda Sime, the Regional Coordinator for the Parkland area talks about all the events taking place on walk day.
"Our walk for Alzheimer's will take place on June 21st. We're really fortunate, again, to partner up with the Masons, and we will be on site all day at the CN Park location, right in front of the Railway Museum. (We're) selling hotdogs starting at 11:30, and the Masons are going to sell hotdogs, drinks and a bag of chips throughout the day, leading up to the walk. Registration for the walk will begin at 5 PM, the walk will start sharp at 7 PM, and we will do our trail throughout Dauphin and down Main Street."
Last year the walk attracted 112 registered walkers for the biggest walk yet.
