Let The Countdown Begin For The Royal Manitoba Winter Fair!

The 2017 Royal Manitoba Winter Fair is exactly one week away.

The annual tradition to be held at the Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba in Brandon will feature a number of events tailored for the entire family.

According to General Manager Ron Kristjansson for the Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba, this year's fair has seen a rise in exhibitors in one category specifically.

"We've got a great line up of entertainment for the whole family this year, it's the 110th winter fair some of the long standing traditions you know the horse shows... we've got a large entry of cattle this year -- a real jump -- we've got close to 60 exhibitors bringing us almost a 100 head of cattle this year."

Make sure to listen to 730 CKDM next Monday as News Reporter Anthony De Luca and Announcer Shaun Elliott will be live on location during this year's fair.
