Day Two of CanoLAB 2017 Kicks Off In Dauphin

Producers will have the opportunity to hear more about the canola industry today in the Parkland.

Day one wrapped up yesterday at Credit Union Place featuring a number of presenters discussing topics related to canola harvesting, canola safety and managing your canola.

Retired Program Director for Prairie Agricultural Machinery Institute Les Hill feels producers should be better equipped in mitigating and catching loss.

"A lot of them don't necessarily have a very disciplined method that gets them away from error, so when we're talking about a disciplined method of error there is catch the loss just as it would land on the ground and that's where the pans come in... the drop pan that was shown there -- which would release automatically -- it drops down to the ground, material drops into it."

You can hear the full interview on today's noon Ag Show.
