MUSIC NEWS: FRIDAY, DECEMBER 16, 2016 PITBULL - STATE OF FLORIDA CONTRACT Pitbull has released the contract that shows he was paid one-million dollars by Florida's tourism agency, two days after a lawmaker filed suit for that information. Pitbull tweeted a link to the 11-page contract with the comment, ``Full disclosure - Florida.'' Pitbull had agreed to produce a video for the song ``Sexy Beaches'' for the tourism agency and to promote Florida tourism on his social media and during concerts. The tourism agency kept his payment information secret, prompting House Speaker Richard Corcoran to file a lawsuit this week. Florida House Speaker Richard Corcoran filed a lawsuit against P-D-R Productions, demanding last year's contract between Pitbull and the state's tourism department be made public. The contract called for Pitbull to promote Florida with his song ``Sexy Beaches'' and feature the state's beaches in the song's video. Pitbull's company says the amount he was paid is a trade secret, exempt from the state public records law. Yesterday, West met with Trump at Trump Tower in New York to talk about ``life,'' according to Trump. They posed for photos after the meeting but did not go into detail about what they talked about. MUSIC NEWS: TUESDAY, DECEMBER 13, 2016 BOB DYLAN IS GOING TO SWEDEN Bob Dylan appears to be leaving the door open to fulfilling his requirement for accepting the Nobel Prize in literature. Dylan has announced three shows in Sweden in April, including two in Stockholm. The Swedish Academy, which gives out the prizes, is headquartered there. Dylan is required to give a Nobel lecture as a condition of his acceptance. Dylan did not attend Saturday's Nobel award ceremony in Stockholm but sent a speech of thanks. --- LIVE REUNITE The original lineup of Live have gotten back together. MUSIC NEWS: FRIDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2016 OBIT - GREG LAKE - REACTION Drummer Carl Palmer of Emerson, Lake and Palmer is remembering Greg Lake for his ``soaring voice and skill as a musician.'' He says this year has been particularly hard because Keith Emerson died this year as well. Keyboardist Rick Wakeman of Yes says Lake left some great music and his legacy will live on. Keyboardist Geoff Downes of Asia calls Lake a ``genius'' and says his great talent will be sorely missed. Lake died of cancer on Wednesday at the age of 69. --- GREG LAKE - ``LUCKY MAN'' Greg Lake was just 12 years old when he wrote the song ``Lucky Man.''
