As the seasons quickly change so do peoples moods, attitudes and life style choices which is actually based on a science.

Outreach Manager for the Mood Disorders Association in Manitoba for the Parkland Region, Eleanor Snitka feels this year's weather in Manitoba hasn't helped in deterring those symptoms.

"There's actually an illness called Seasonal Affective Disorder that happens for many people during often times between October to April when the days are shorter, when the sun is less intense, when the time is colder... this year with all the cloud we've been having and rain we haven't been getting that sunshine."

Environment Canada says total precipitation for the month of October in Manitoba currently stands at 48.3 millimeters.
