Beginning October 18th at the Lakeview Hotel in Gimli running from 1 pm - 7 pm, fishers will be informed on prices and markets other than the Freshwater Fishing Marketing Corporation.
Vice President of the WMM Fish Co-Op, Frank Kenyon says the meeting will center around a key theme.
"The purpose of these meeting is to get foreign buyers, foreign markets out to great local fishermen because our Provincial Conservatives have ended the Freshwater Fishing monopoly and soon we'll be able to sell outside of Freshwater."
The other two meetings are scheduled for October 19th at the Eddystone Hall and October 20th at the Kikiwak Inn in The Pas.
