Andrea Glasman, treasurer of the Expanding Community Cancer Care Committee, says the chemo room currently has four chairs and they'd like to expand it to six.

 

"(The chemo room) is quite a small area and if we have four patients at a time there's not always room to have a family member sitting in there with you, if you need that support. So our plan is to expand this unit to a six-chair unit that will be a little more spacious and comfy so that families can be with their loved ones if need be."
