A black bear has recently been spotted roaming the area, with Dauphin Rec Services taking precautions to relocate the bear.

Dauphin Rec Service Supervisor lead hand Edward Simpson says the trap is roughly four by ten feet long.

"It's a live trap. There's bear bait in it. It's like a big culvert."

Simpson also advises residents who will be in the park today to not go near the trap.
