Karin who's a missionary with OM Zambia in Communications, says this experience has allowed her to view situations from a different perspective. She added, "Just being on the inside of ministries is just exposing me to all sorts of things in Africa, what people are doing and what God is doing in the area."

 

Both Rick and Karin say the country has good soil and climate for future agriculture enterprises. 

 

Rick who's also an instructor for Foundations for Farming said, "Zambia is blessed in that it's got one of the best soil profiles in the world, but it's cursed because 35% of the people their go to bed hungry."

 

Rick and Karin both expressed how the mission has only scratched the surface, and that they are both trying to make an improvement one village at a time.
