Take in another Manitoba Home Routes Concert in Dauphin, at 419 River Avenue, on Tuesday, March 6th, featuring some great blues music with finger-pickin' funny man, Andy Cohen; showtime is 7:30; admission is only $20 at the door, kids are free.

Jump-start your day by joining a walking group.  The Lions District 5M13 and Diabetes Canada have teamed up to offer 1-hour urban pole-walking sessions, with the Shoal Lake Communiplex Walking Group; the four weekly sessions start on Wednesday, February 14, at 9:00 am, at the Shoal Lake Communiplex, and runs until March 7.  Urban Poles for “Nordic Pole-Walking” will be made available for those that wish to try.  For more information, call 204.365.6195.

Walking Wednesdays are back at Credit Union Place in Dauphin!  The Dauphin Rotary Club is sponsoring a free day of walking at the Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy Walking Track, at Credit Union Place, each Wednesday from October 4th to April 25th.

Mountain View School Division has rescheduled their Public Budget Forum, which will allow them to present and discuss information relevant to the 2018-2019 Operating Budget.  In addition, the Forum will be streamed for public viewing and participation through the school division website at mvsd.ca.  The Forum will be held at 7 pm on Wednesday, March 7th, at the Administration Office Conference Room in Dauphin.  The Board of Trustees encourages and appreciates your attendance.

The local CARE Committee, along with the Parkland Crisis Centre, are proud to host an evening with Joy Smith, at the Watson Art Centre in Dauphin, on Saturday, March 3rd.

Joy Smith is a well-known leading advocate against human trafficking worldwide, and a champion of human rights.

Doors open at 6 pm; presentation begins at 7 pm.

St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Dauphin will host the World Day of Prayer events in Dauphin, on Friday, March 2nd, starting at 2 pm.

Everyone is invited to attend this special event, with refreshments provided following the service.

The Dauphin & District Community Food Bank provides food for people in need, on specific Thursdays each month, from 5 pm to 8 pm.  You must come in person, and bring your Manitoba Health Card, in order to receive food.

You can get food every 4 weeks. If you want more information you can call 204-638-7853 and leave a message.

The Food Bank is located at Parkland Crossing at 220 Whitmore Avenue West.
